Wujal Wujal

Over 80 people are involved in the wide range of programs being offered in Wujal Wujal. Project ideas come straight from the Community, meaning they are responsive to the needs of the people of Wujal Wujal.

Many of the projects delivered in Wujal Wujal work together – the nursery propagates seedlings for the market garden, which provides produce for the cooking classes. Goods cooked will soon be sold through the new Arts and Cultural Centre, as will art works and craft items made by participants in the Men’s and Women’s Groups.

Projects have included:

  • A plant nursery to propagate seedlings
  • Market garden
  • Women’s arts, craft and cooking classes
  • Men’s arts and craft classes
